Infant Program

Our youngest learners range from 8 weeks to 18 months. The Infant rooms provide a warm, nurturing environment tailored to each baby’s needs.

  • Individualized care plans for feeding, sleeping, and unique needs
  • Sensory-rich spaces for exploration
  • Staff support language development through repetitive, sing-song talk

Toddler Program

Toddlers, aged 18 months to 3 years, explore play areas and practice skills across all developmental domains.

Preschool

This school program continues to build on our Infant/Toddler curriculum and includes the beginnings of formal academic learning with emphasis on each child’s readiness level and individual needs.

Children develop socialization skills, independence, and confidence as they learn to follow directions, engage with peers, and enjoy a more structured school setting. During this time, language becomes more interactive and purposeful, preparing children for a successful transition into our Pre-Kindergarten program.

Pre-Kindergarten

Our program offers a thoughtful approach to the traditional classroom, designed to support each child’s individual abilities, development, and learning style while fostering growth across all major developmental areas.

Through active exploration and hands-on learning, children build readiness skills in math, reading, language, sensory development, and everyday life, while also strengthening organizational and social skills.

Windsor Academy has proudly served as a Community-Based Universal Pre-K site in partnership with the Newburgh Enlarged City School District for nearly 20 years, reflecting our strong commitment to our community.

Extended Day

Our extended day programs give public school students a calm, supportive start and end to their school day at Windsor Academy.

Children spend time with peers before being picked up by the school bus directly in front of our protected outdoor seating area and are supervised at all times. After school, students return to Windsor Academy for Homework Club, where all homework is completed under the guidance of our licensed staff in a quiet, dedicated space.

With the exception of our computer lab, Windsor Academy is an electronics-free school. Once homework is finished, children enjoy a balance of indoor and outdoor activities that allow them to relax, recharge, and enjoy their afternoon.

Summer Programs

Windsor Academy offers a variety of summer programs for both enrolled students and public school children. Led by our elementary teachers, the program blends academic review and enrichment with preparation for September, alongside art, music, theater, dance, cooking, physical education, water activities, field trips, and more.

Our Infant & Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten programs continue year-round, with added summer flexibility to accommodate family schedules, vacations, and work commitments. Extended day coverage remains available throughout the summer.

Selecting a childcare center is an extremely important decision.

We encourage families to reach out to us both when starting the process and after they’ve enrolled for clarifications, information and support.
